History and General Overview\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Les Acad\u00e9mies de Langue du Governor de Virginie was founded in 1986 with the creation of the Acad\u00e9mie Fran\u00e7aise. The German and Spanish academies debut in the following year. The three total immersion programs are intended to offer an exemplary experience in the teaching of foreign languages. Depuis 2011, l’Universit\u00e9 Washington & Lee accueille L’Acad\u00e9mie Fran\u00e7aise, attirant des young aspirants linguistes dans son program de three semaines o\u00f9 les opportunit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement linguistique et culturel abondent dans le cadre d’un program riche en activit\u00e9s linguistiques, culturelles et social quotidiennes.<\/p>\n

Pendant toute la dur\u00e9e du program, les \u00e9tudiants en langues \u00e9trang\u00e8res les plus motiv\u00e9s et les plus talentueux du Commonwealth participants \u00e0 des \u00e9tudes linguistiques et culturelles intenses, tout en \u00e9tant tenus de parler, lire, \u00e9crire et \u00e9couter uniquement le fran\u00e7ais. The selected students are local. Par opposite, the professors and the cadre of personnel from all regions of the world. Parmi les names activit\u00e9s extracurriculaires et multichoix proposals en cours des three semaines du program, les acad\u00e9mies de langues \u00e9trang\u00e8res du governor de Virginie organisent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des \u00e9missions de radio.<\/p>\n

The subjects of discussion are varied, but the emissions portent sur la nutrition, les divertissements, le fitness, la cuisine, les livres \u00e0 lire, la sant\u00e9, les artists, la musique, l’art, etc.<\/p>\n

These emissions are created by students with the help of a member of the teaching corps and a linguistic monitor for the academic year. The broadcasts are possible thanks to the service of the radio de l’Universit\u00e9 de Washington et Lee (WLUR).<\/p>\n

The object of this exercise is to develop the competencies at the level of writing and oral expression, using different stages of brainstorming, editing and finalizing the text, to be used in diction and voice projection. L’un des aspects int\u00e9ressants de ces \u00e9missions est l’enthousiasme des \u00e9tudiants pour les langues \u00e9trang\u00e8res, car ils font des progr\u00e8s visible dans les four comp\u00e9tences requises pour l’apprentissage des langues.<\/p>\n
