We started the first night at the academy off with a delicious dinner in small conversation groups (5 académiciens dining with one member of staff), and then played a few ice breaker games, or as we call them, les jeux de brise glace. Among those played included a fun game in our smaller family groups, where students had to link arms with one another in a random fashion and then disentangle without breaking the links!
Tomorrow, les académiciens will have their first conversation course in groups of 10, and sign up for their multi-choice activities including swimming, la pétanque, le foot (allez les bleus!!), and les jeux de société! À plus, les parents!
