Yesterday we continued to get to know each other with more jeux de brise glace and by creating place cards with drawings of their passions/hobbies. Les cours de conversation began as well! Topics ranged from the philosophical to la vie pratique and how things are going in high school. Afterwards, we went on a treasure hunt.
~Courses~ started this morning for our lovely académiciens — they will be learning le portuguais with Madame N’Khomba, about various beauties and beasts with Madame Campbell-Hendricks, la phonétique with M. Keith, “le sacré en France” with Madame Smalfelt, l’histoire d’art and with Madame Lynch.
Oh la la, vos enfants seront les gens de l’haute société en trois semaines!
